IBC Tote

Intermediate Bulk Container. A pallet-mounted vessel for liquids and granulates, usually 275-350 gallons with an HDPE bottle in a steel cage.

IBC Tank

A stainless steel or specialized intermediate bulk container designed for storing and transporting industrial liquids, chemicals, and food-grade products.

UN Marking

United Nations certification stamp on containers approved for hazardous materials transport. Includes packing group, date, and manufacturer codes.

Rebottling

The process of replacing the HDPE inner bottle of a composite IBC tote while reusing the steel cage and pallet base, extending service life.

HDPE

High-Density Polyethylene. The most common plastic used for IBC tote inner bottles. Resistant to many chemicals and approved for food-contact applications.

Composite IBC

An IBC tote consisting of an HDPE inner bottle encased in a galvanized steel cage on an integrated pallet base. The most common IBC design worldwide.
